Sunnybrook wins BIG at All Canadian Wine Championships
Established in 1981 the All Canadian Wine Championship remains the oldest and largest competition for Canadian wines. Including all manner of grape wines, soft and tree fruit, ciders and meads; the Competition is open to all commercial Canadian wineries, and is critiqued by a panel of wine writers, Sommeliers, and wine educators from across Canada.
With over 1400 wine entries into the 2017 competition, and over 350 from Ontario alone; we at Sunnybrook Winery are proud to stand amongst our peers to showcase the quality of our wines, and what the best of the region’s fruit has to offer. Winemaker Antonella Presta shone in this year’s standings, as Sunnybrook Winery walked away with 3 Double Golds, and 1 Silver medal.
Aged for six months on local Chardonnay lees, and infused with a touch of French oak; this complex apple wine boasts abundant aromas of pineapple, melon, and vanilla cream.
A unique blend of blueberry and raspberry, this is a full-bodied, cellar worthy wine. Velvety and complex, this wine can be served chilled or at room temperature.
A lively wine with aromas of fresh cranberries and a hint of spice. The illusion of initial sweetness finishes in classic cranberry form with refreshing acidity.
